One of the manifestations of this endeavor can be observed in the process of the recent Arab revolutions. In fact, since the beginnings of the recent uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa, the west leaded by the United States have attempted to prevent the export of the Iranian model to crisis stricken countries. The present paper is to answer the following questions: 1) what is the nature of the soft war of the west against the Islamic republic of Iran in the process of Arab revolutions? 2) Which methods and mechanisms have been used by the west for preventing the export of the Iranian model to the crisis stricken countries of Arab World? The hypotheses of the paper are as follows: 1) The mentioned soft war is originated in the historical and ideological conflicts between political Islam and liberal democracy. 2) The west’s soft strategy against the political model of the Islamic republic of Iran have included negative propaganda against the Islamic regime and highlighting its economic, political and social deficiencies aimed at manifesting its inefficiency and proposing the crisis stricken countries, other models such as the secular model of turkey. In fact, the west leaded by the United Stated has introduced the turkey model as a combination of economic development, democracy, freedom and moderated Islam with an interactive foreign policy. The methodology of the present paper is analytical descriptive method and the method of gathering information is library studies.
