2251-8681 3 7 2013 08 23 Types and Levels of Public Diplomacy Based on Imam Khomeini's political thought Types and Levels of Public Diplomacy Based on Imam Khomeini's political thought 1 17 508 FA Seyyed Jalal Dehghani Firouzabadi Ali Sourosh Journal Article 2012 09 23 It is necessary to study types and levels of diplomacy based on the paradigm of Islamic Thought. This paper explains new types and levels of diplomacy based on Imam Khomeini's thought. After redefining the diplomacy in this paradigm, a three-layers diplomacy will be explained. Three levels of diplomacy are derived from three humanistic ground and three dimensions of "pure Islam" and different types of diplomacy can be defined in these three layers. Also, appropriate definition of this paradigm will present for public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy. And Training diplomacy will be introduced as a new concept and new term. In addition, other types of diplomacy, such as awakening diplomacy and unity diplomacy, would be defined in this level.
