Abstract

The first and foremost purpose of any political system, including the political system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is to provide national security . The government is committed to achieving this vital goal, using all its resources and removing all obstacles. Failure to provide national security causes public discontent and undermines system's capability in various political, economic, and social aspects, especially in the field of national security, increasing public acceptance and effectively increasing the efficiency of the system . What we are trying to answer in this study is: What are the performance indicators in the field of national security from the perspective of the supreme leader? To explain this question, we went to the supreme leader's remarks and speeches and explored their themes , which is one of the methods of qualitative analysis , with the aim of recognizing the supreme leader's view of efficiency indicators in the field of national security. The findings of the study show that the central theme of the statements of the supreme leader is to preserve the system against the enemy and emphasize themes such as anthropology, national unity , public satisfaction, conscientiousness and a sense of responsibility to maintain the system.
