Recognizing the components of scientific referent in the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

Purpose:
Obviously, the Islamic Revolution, in order to implement and continue its ideals, achieve the world community and the formation of a great Islamic civilization and achieve its goals, necessarily needs a capable scientific capacity and finally to achieve scientific authority. Accordingly, the basic prerequisite for moving towards the ideal of scientific authority and achieving a world-class position is the existence of a uniform image of this concept. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain and recognize the components of scientific authority, Shape the minds of the members of a scientific institution in particular and the members of society in general
Research Methodology:
In the first place, after reviewing the academic literature, leadership statements and interviews with experts in this field, the components of the concept of scientific authority were extracted using the Thematic analysis technique and then the data were analyzed using the fuzzy Delphi technique.
Findings:
In total, 40 components were identified in the form of 5 dimensions related to the concept of "scientific authority", which are 5 main categories: cultural components, scientific components, international components, managerial components, social components. Also, a number of indicators were proposed to monitor the concept of scientific authority.
Conclusion:
Given that the concepts and components that govern scientific authority also determine how to interact with this phenomenon, and also the success of a scientific institution or society is due to the overlap of the mental images of its members in routing and achieving the goal, this study tried to provide a platform for discussion of the main thinkers in this field to provide a turning point for further exchange of practical and scientific ideas if the implementing institutions and policy-making in science and technology pay attention.
