Providing a Framework of Social Justice in the School of Haj Qasem Soleimani Based on Its Essence in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Ja‘fari Jurisprudence

Abstract

purpose: Justice in Islam is presented as a practical strategy for building a healthy society based on human rights. In response to distortions of the efficacy of Islamic teachings, providing a model of social justice based on the teachings of Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani is essential for legitimizing the Resistance Axis and clarifying the effectiveness of divine commandments.
methods: This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach to systematically examine the concept of justice in the Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Infallibles (peace be upon them), and Ja’fari jurisprudence, extracting a comprehensive definition. In the qualitative phase, field data were collected through semi-structured interviews with comrades and informed individuals familiar with Martyr Soleimani’s conduct, using snowball sampling. Data analysis was conducted using interpretive analysis and multi-level coding (basic, organizing, and global codes), with careful documentation following qualitative research principles.
Findings: Findings indicate that social justice in Islamic law means placing each individual in their rightful position and observing equality and fairness in rights and interactions with others. Conclusion: Martyr Soleimani’s conduct, emphasizing service to humanity, strongly aligns with the principles of social justice and highlights concepts such as fairness in behavior, respect for rights, and justice-oriented management across economic, cultural, and political dimensions. This research offers a practical model of social justice in Martyr Soleimani’s school of thought, which can play a significant role in legitimizing the Resistance Axis.
