Abstract
Background and Objective: The importance of management during the Holy Defense era is due to the fact that the Islamic Revolution was involved in the imposed war in a nascent condition and without organizational experience in the very early years of victory. During this period, values of the commanders and warriors of Islam were unveiled, which can be talked about for years. Accordingly, as the main research issue, discovering the value system of the commanders of the Holy Defense requires research and investigation. Research Methodology: The method of conducting a mixed research and using a sequential exploratory approach in the first stage using the data-based method and interviews with 14 people, a native model was developed and then using the quantitative method of structural equation modeling in a larger sample of military commanders numbering 92 people, the model was validated and quantitatively tested. Findings: The research findings in the model are qualitatively indicative of the fact that the main structure of the theory consists of 9 main categories, which include; Values-based management, charismatic leaders, spiritual values, interactive culture, institutional coordination, program-oriented, a mixture of religion and politics, jihadi management, and the ideological influence of commanders were depicted in a paradigmatic model and the position of each category in the face of the main phenomenon of the research was displayed, and a unique model of values-based management was shown in the commanders of the eight years of the Holy Defense. In the quantitative part, the components of the model were confirmed in a structural equation model. Conclusion: Based on the results obtained, it can be said that management during the Holy Defense era was of a value type and its value components were the main secret of the successes of this era and the sustainability of the Islamic Revolution.
