هدف: هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی و جمعبندی مطالعات پیشین به منظور شناسایی نقش پیادهروی اربعین حسینی در جهت تحکیم و ایجاد همبستگی امت اسلامی است. روش شناسیپژوهش: پژوهش حاضر با استفاده از روش کیفی فراترکیب و الگوی هفت مرحلهای سندلوسکی و باروسو (2003) صورت گرفته است. به همین منظور، نتایج مطالعات انجام شده بین سالهای 1395 تا 1403 بررسی شده و با استفاده از کلیدواژههای مرتبط، تعدادی از مقالات مربوط شناسایی و از میان 477 مقاله، در نهایت 64 مقاله با توجه به معیارهای روش فراترکیب انتخاب شدند. به منظور بررسی کیفیت و پایایی یافتههای پژوهش از روایی محتوایی و شاخص کاپا استفاده شده که نتایج آن حکایت از کیفیت مطلوب یافته داشته است. یافته ها: یافتههای حاصل از پژوهش حاضر به استخراج کدهای متفاوتی انجامید و پس از رفت و برگشتهای مداوم 9 سرفصل نهایی در رابطه با نقش پیادهروی اربعین حسینی با همبستگی امت اسلامی مشخص شد که به ترتیب فراوانی عبارتند از: اجتماعی- فرهنگی، سیاسی، فردی، آرمانی، دینی، هویتی، تربیتی، ارتباطی و خدماتی. از سوی دیگر ادغام یافتههای مطالعات قبلی به مقولههای مهمی در رابطه با پیادهروی اربعین حسینی و همبستگی امت اسلامی انجامید که به ترتیب فراوانی عبارتند از: قدرت نرم اسلامی، انسجام و همبستگی، کنشگری معنوی، فضاسازی رسانهای، بازاندیشی اخلاقی و ارزشی، ظرفیت اتوپیاسازی، زمینهسازی فضایی و مکانی، بازاندیشی معرفتی و زیست اربعینی. نتیجه گیری: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که نقش پیادهروی اربعین حسینی در تحکیم و همبستگی امت اسلامی غیرقابل انکار است و کارکردهای متفاوتی که این زیارت معنوی برای زائران دارد، میتواند همبستگی و پیوستگی جهان اسلام و خصوصاً شیعیان را بیش از پیش تقویت نماید.
